IRON SHANK
two of the best bands when it comes down to what is called POWER VIOLENCE! the 
2 piece from the U.S. called IRON LUNG and Glasgow's SHANK. on their split 12" they both rip through 17 songs (10 from IRON LUNG & 7 from SHANK) in 17 something minutes with a lyric sheet shaped like a coffin! I love IRON LUNG but they are no match for SHANK as SHANK are fiercer, angrier... they are one of those bands that make hate become music!
edit: I re-upped this one not only cause it was hosted on divshare but also cause I found this upload on the internet which has an untitled bonus track - can anybody tell me something about that track?

just came back from the cinema, where I saw MIA SAN DAGENG a kind of documentary of PUNKROCK in Munich from 1977 to now! if you speak german watch this movie if you don´t speak german watch this movie too! never before seen footage and the most important thing is: this was done by PUNKS that had no money (NO BUDGET NOT LOW BUDGET) and no clue but did it in spite of that!

ELITIST ASSHOLE GRINDCORE
I found this review of INSECT WARFARE´s 1st 12" on the web and as the description is 100% accurate I took it for for their GULF COAST INFESTATION demo!INSECT WARFARE have no random clean interludes and spazzed-out 'jazz' sections. They don't dress up in costumes resembling bugs, nor do they pretend to be anything other than a bunch of guys playing music. What they do is blast pure grindcore into any listener's ears; this means heavily distorted and massive guitar tones, frantic drumming, and every growl and croak imaginable.
World Extermination, their first full length, puts every aspect of INSECT WARFARE's music on display. Songs such as "Self Termination" and "Necessary Death" maintain a constant heaviness and speed that at times almost resembles old-school death metal. Others bring more diversity, incorporating more groove-oriented sections in between the blasts of cymbals and noise. They even manage to write a few catchy riffs in the process, including those in "Hydrophobia" and "Enslaved by Machinery".
If you want a soundtrack to a nuclear holocaust, pandemic, or the enslavement of Earth by extraterrestrial beings - look no further than World Extermination. Your face will melt.

this is DENAK´s 1st 7" and a remastered version of their GRINDCORE 10"! guess this was ripped from a CD as it has 40 tracks and as I´m to lazy to check from what release (if taken from earlier releases) those tracks are you have something worthwhile to do when you feel bored! I´m still not sure if DENAK or HAEMORRHAGE should wear the spanish GRINDCOREcrown but I know for a fact that both are great bands!LET`S DANCE AGAIN!

Canada has 3 tracks of songs about gentlemen that would be every mothers favorite son in law, while Spain counters with 4 tracks that proof once again that I should learn spanish! well, as DAHMER have french lyrics most of the time I don´t understand them either! A MADHOUSE MEETING OF BANNED PUNX!
this is a classic! repeat! this is a classic! RAZORS´ BANNED PUNX 12", released in 1982 on KONEKSCHEN RECORDS (one of the 1st german PUNKLABELS) is among the 5 best german records that have been released in the 80ies! I guess I would have killed for this 5 song 12" that runs on 45 rpm while I was trying to get ahold of this gem! RAZORS were part of the early HH-scene (together with BUTTOCKS, NAPALM, SCREAMER, COPSLAYERS, CORONERS, etc.) so you shouldn´t wonder that the vox aren´t done by the original singer Danker, they´re done by Lui who did the vox on the PUNKENSTEIN 7" and played in NAPALM as well! RAZORS did 3 7"es, this 12" e.p. and a full length 12", and some comptracks in the 80ies. they reformed in the late 90ies (I think they did some new stuff again) and may still be around! both 12"es have been re-released for their reunion as a double 12" or maybe they reunited cause of re-release! what most people don´t know is that there is more than the vinyl stuff! there is a tape (recorded in their rehearsal room which happened to be on a ship) that is better than the rest of their 7"es and the other 12" and some live tracks on some old tapecomps! I´ve been told that their singer disappeared and nobody knows what happened to him! basicly the same 20 - 30 people wrote and recorded most of the classic records during that period in Hamburg!and for the record: not only that RAZORS tape but some of the coolest songs from this time never made it on vinyl! ever heared UNTER DEN BRÜCKEN HAMBURGS from SPIEL 77 or DER NAZIHIPPIE from MEINE SCHUPPEN? no? sorry you!

I found myself listening to a lot of DOOM lately and DOOM´s RUSH HOUR OF THE GODS is my fave DOOM 12”! 11 tracks (and an outro) of fierce & angry CRUST done by a band that helped to define CRUSTPUNK while being ahead of the other bands most of the time (they dropped the ball with WORLD OF SHIT in my opinion!)! I still love this band as much as I did 15 years ago!

ladies & gentlemen: KUNGFU RICK once again! don´t know if this is their 1st 7" as there is another 7" that´s called STATUES TO STONES SOLDIERS TO BONES now how´s that for a title? if you don´t know this band: they play fast HARDCORE on the verge to GRINDCORE here and there with 2 singers and most important - they are great at what they do!PRAY FOR HELL!
nearly forgot this one! the GOMORRHA / HELLCHILD split 7” which was requested by someone quite a while ago! sorry for the delay! GOMORRHA have 3 tracks on this one with the last song going over 3 minutes and being their weakest song! the other 2 tracks are GRINDCORE in the GOMORRHA style as usual! HELLCHILD suck, period! reminds me of PANTERA or other bad POWERMETAL! 2 boring tracks! b.t.w. there´s a GOMMORHA Discography 12” on HATER OF GOD rec. (one of the best record label names ever!) that has all their stuff (the AS GOOD AS DEAD 12”, the split 7”es with TUMULT and HELLCHILD & the track from the SEED OF THE NEXT SEASON comp.) and fantastic artwork – get it when you can!
