I had to rip it again cause I didn't have the old files anymore. as scanning the artwork would have taken too much of my time I only scanned the cover of the CD and the lyric sheet of the vinyl version which has the same writings but less art. click the cover to download! pw: mean

I also finally scored a copy of the NO EXIT tape compilation that feat. CATHARSIS, INTEGRITY, BLOODSHED, LINE DRIVE, XESSIVE FORCE, REFUGE and POLYESTER COWBOYS and was released by INSIDE FRONT REC. as INSIDE FRONT REC. # 1.

I've ripped CATHARSIS' 1st full-length SAMSARA with 320 kbits, scanned the complete booklet and re-upped it as my 1st upload was hosted on divshare and they suck!

this 7" comp. was released on AREA 51 rec. which was done by by someone from GEHENNA. it has 4 bands to offer: CATHARSIS, INTEGRITY, BACKLASH and CONGRESS. I bought this cause of the INTEGRITY track which is taken from their demo and is of such worse quality that I just can´t listen to it. way back then I was really disappointed but as I discovered CATHARSIS through this comp. I could have been worse!

sometimes it takes a little while till I get to do what I say but here you finally got the CATHARSIS split with GEHENNA and as that split was released in South America as a split with NEWSPEAK you´ll find the NEWSPEAK songs here too! all done in 256 k/Bits and I split the CATHARSIS and GEHENNA stuff up in songs this time! the pics are GEHENNA pics as you might have guessed! I´m still waiting for GEHENNA´s early discography 2 x 12" which will be glued to one of my turntables as soon as I get it!

on request from Mr. 7" CRUST: the lyrics to the 1st CATHARSIS 7"! it´s just the lyrics! besides the lyrics the booklet has some more (religious) images and a long Nietsche text! b.t.w. the lyrics are all political just dig through the religious surface! pics taken by me when CATHARSIS played in a small village near my hometown.

PASSION - the 2nd masterpiece of this outstanding band! read what I've written about CATHARSIS in the post of their 1st 12" about that record that's called SAMSARA! this is equally good! and then there is the split with NEWSPEAK [that's the record that is a repress or a South-American reissue of the split with GEHENNA and not their other split with NEWBORN that's why the GEHENNA tracks are included] klick the cover for the d/l-links!

one CATHARSIS [U.S.A.] track [over 10 min. long] vs. three NEWBORN [Hungary] tracks! has been released in south-america as aCATHARSIS / NEWSPEAK split 12"! sad but true I don´t find the CATHARSIS song really exciting! somehow this time their sound doesn`t move me much that´s very sad as I love this band since before I had heard any music from them -by just reading an interview in BLOODBOOK fanzine [think it was the BLOODBOOK with the GEHENNA interview where their singer says he wants to do a split 7" with a RIVER[NO JOKE]!

CATHARSIS - one of my all time top 20 bands and without a doubt one of the bands with the biggest influence on HARDCORE in the 90ies! guess you wouldn't have heard of FREEGAN etc. if CATHARSIS / Brian wouldn't have told you! when they came on tour for the first time I drove 800 km to Bremen just to see them live! this is the demo [I've the original tape but as the quality of my tape has suffered over the years I ripped the demo from the EPONYMOUS CD which is a collection of their demo, their 7" and some more songs and all tracks played backwards at the end]! as the file would've been bigger than 100 MB I split into the "normal" songs (includes the CONFRONT coversong that caused some trouble back in the day) which you'll get through the link below and the backwards played version which you'll get through click on the cover above!
