seems to be the motto of the artist who is responsible for the BEYOND DESCRIPTION cover of the split. seriously the KONTROVERS cover isn't that great but the BEYOND DESCRIPTION cover looks like it was drawn by a learning disabled fruit-fly or something like that. to make things worse this is the same genius that is also responsible for the BEYOND DESCRIPTION cover on their split 7"with SPINEBENDER which means they got no fucking excuse at all for letting the "master" insult the eyes of the viewer once more by ruining another cover... but as the music is what counts in the first place this shall be enough about the cover I guess I made it clear that I really think it sucks. Nippon's BEYOND DESCRIPTION offer 3 tracks of fast JAPCORE like they were supposed to do. pretty solid tunes nothing outstanding but by no means bad. Sweden's KONTROVERS deliver 4 tracks of raw & fast Scandinavian HARDCORE that's solid in the best moments but far from being more than that. not bad but absolutely really nothing groundbreaking, outstanding or original. click the last pic!

I had posted UNKNOWN H.C. DRUNKERS VOL. 1 a while ago now here's the follow up with the 2nd part. the bands featured on this one are: BAD TASTE, BEYOND DESCRIPTION, C.O.S.A., HEIDEGGER, HELLCHILD, NOISE DISTRACTION, OUCH, OVER DOSE, STRESS, THE SEMETARY and one more that has it's name just printed in Japanese kanjis. maybe someone can tell me what their name means in English? if I understood the idea behind this comps. then the idea was to give bands that haven't released more than a demo the posibility to get heard. so that should be the 1st vinyl apperance of all that bands. while HELLCHILD already bore me in the begining the stand-outs are HEIDEGGER and THE SEMETARY!

when I told Mr. IRISHDAVE that there might be just one 7" and one split 7" from BEYOND DESCRIPTION that´s not posted here I was wrong! I spoke of the split with JILTED and forgot that there´s this one too! 6 tracks 3 from each band and the 3 BEYOND DESCRIPTIONtracks are all on other releases too! but as there´s still EXCREMENT OF WAR on this split you should give it a try.

nice split 7". BEYOND DESCRIPTION give you what you expect: fierce JAPCORE! 3 tracks in the same style as all their stuff in older posts! ABSCONDED are way more melodic and give a somehow strange bedmate! reminds of old SKATEPUNK. not bad but not really what I prefer musicwise!

this has been being posted some time ago! but as it was just 128 kBit/s I decided to rip it again! so this time it´s 192kBit/s and the songs are tagged! if you´re not familiar with BEYOND DESCRIPTION let me tell you that they thrash since 1998! on this 3" cd named CALM LOVING LIFE they offer you 14 tracks and as they are from Japan and toured Germany with BOOT DOWN THE DOOR, Y and WORLD CHAOS it´s not hard to guess that they play CRUST (with a METAL edge) but their japanese origin is plain to hear once in a while! very good sound quality as well! I got this from their singer Hideyuki and he gave me one with a black on white and one with a black on blue cover! I`ve been told that they are recording new stuff for their 20th anniversary!

got this one from hideyuki the singer of BEYOND DESCRIPTION 10 years ago when they toured in germany! if a comp. is called HARDCORE UNDERGROUND FIGHTERS OF JAPAN in the subtitle and you don´t know what to expect you might be an idiot! USA MEETS JAPAN

I love this 10" [and not just cause I`m on BEYOND DESCRIPTIONs thankslist!]! 7 tracks from nippons BEYOND DESCRIPTION, 5 tracks from DETESTATION... sad but true: the DETESTATION recordings are pretty weak when it comes to sairas vocals [a problem on all their releases]! BEYOND DESCRIPTIONs tracks have top notch sound! this was released on dutch WICKED WITCH rec. which had kind of a abc meets xyz series but BEYOND DESCRIPTION is the only band I know that was featured 2 times. there was a split 7" with the dutch band ABSCONDED before! [by the way, did you know that there´s a BEYOND DESCRIPTION / EXCREMENT OF WAR split 7"?]

this split 7" on ANOMIE REC. was released for the one-week-of-restvacation-europe tour in 1997! 3 songs from both bands! the sad point is that some [maybe all, I´m to lazy to check...] BEYOND DESCRIPTION songs have been on other releases before! BOOT DOWN THE DOOR continue the tradition of ugly as fuck record covers!
