another nice 7" compilation featuring AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED, VILENTLY ILL, WADGE, ENEMY SOIL, FORCED EXPRESSION and MAISIE. my copy came on purple vinyl but I think there are other colors around too! no matter what color the GRINDCORE / DRUMCOMPUTERGRIND mayhem is the same on all copies! another exception to the rule that 7" compilations have to suck! click the pic below!

CHARLES BRONSON, WOUND, SECTION, ENEMY SOIL, PHONO PHOBIA, POTATO JUSTICE, SHORT HATE TEMPER, SOILED and Andrew´s, the guy behind KNOT, own band VILENTLY ILL have been the 1st SPEED FREAKS compilation. there were 2 different versions: one was a 7" featuring CHARLES BRONSON, ENEMY SOIL, VILENTLY ILL, PHONO PHOBIA, SOILED and SECTION and a print run of 500 and one that came with a one-sided bonus 7" featuring POTATO JUSTICE, SHORT HATE TEMPER and WOUND with a printrun of 250. here you get the one with the bonus 7"! I should add that I was to lazy to cut the 12 untitled SOILED "songs" into single files!

VILENTLY ILL´s PLASTIC SOCIETY 7" might be the only record that was recorded on a home stereo in mono that will be posted here! VILENTLY ILL was/is Andrew, the guy behind KNOT records and a drum-computer. he released this 7" as a limited edition of 400 copies on his own label. 10 songs range from 29 seconds to 1.10 min and to be honest I´ve heard worser recordings than this and this was done on a home stero in mono I might remind you!. gets extra points for the "HATE IS THERAPY" on the backcover!
