SENTENCING

I ripped ENEMY SOIL's LIVE AT FIESTA GRANDE # 5 FLEXI 7" while playing it for the 1st. I don't like live-recordings that much and these here are no exceptions but I've heard worse live stuff. basically I just bought it cause I got it very cheap to tell the truth and I think I won't play it very often. click on the pic below.

GRIND IN THE MIND

another nice 7" compilation featuring AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED, VILENTLY ILL, WADGE, ENEMY SOIL, FORCED EXPRESSION and MAISIE. my copy came on purple vinyl but I think there are other colors around too! no matter what color the GRINDCORE / DRUMCOMPUTERGRIND mayhem is the same on all copies! another exception to the rule that 7" compilations have to suck! click the pic below!

GOOD, BAD, UGLY

a compilation that consists of 3 7"es featuring: 16, APARTMENT 213, CAVITY, DAMAD, DEVOID OF FAITH, ENEMY SOIL, FLOOR, FORK, LA GRITONA, SLUGHOG, SPAZZ, SUPPRESSION, THUG, etc. for my taste there´s way to much SLUDGE on this compilation and that there are no lyrics is another point to criticize! I mainly ripped it so I can delete the files of the SLUDGE bands and enjoy the sweet sound of the POWER VIOLENCE bands!

FOR COUNT YORGA

CHARLES BRONSON, WOUND, SECTION, ENEMY SOIL, PHONO PHOBIA, POTATO JUSTICE, SHORT HATE TEMPER, SOILED and Andrew´s, the guy behind KNOT, own band VILENTLY ILL have been the 1st SPEED FREAKS compilation. there were 2 different versions: one was a 7" featuring CHARLES BRONSON, ENEMY SOIL, VILENTLY ILL, PHONO PHOBIA, SOILED and SECTION and a print run of 500 and one that came with a one-sided bonus 7" featuring POTATO JUSTICE, SHORT HATE TEMPER and WOUND with a printrun of 250. here you get the one with the bonus 7"! I should add that I was to lazy to cut the 12 untitled SOILED "songs" into single files!

AH, WOULD YOU PLEASE CALL MY MANAGER FOR THAT?

Northern Virginia´s DRUGS OF FAITH - a power trio with his debut release. DRUGS OF FAITH, founded by an ENEMY SOIL original member, bashes through its HARDCORE fused with GRINDCOREparts and dissonant chords. lyrics cover the personal as well as the political landscape. this is their DEMO from 2002 and a PROMO-CD [ähm, HARDCORE? PROMO-CD? hmm...] from 2004! somehow this PROMO-CD shit leaves the bitter taste of BACKSTREET BOYS in my mouth...
