RETARDED SHIT

as the split 7" that SEA OF SHIT share with SOCIALLY RETARDED has been posted on more than one blog when it was released, you probably may have already downloaded said 7" from another blog. in case you ask yourself now why I decided to post it here ages after it has been posted on all those other blogs? let me tell you that every mp3 rip I found till now came from the same source: the bands! they sent mp3s to some blogs and asked if they would be posted to spread the word about the split. well, even though those mp3s came from the bands themselves they were only ripped with 128 k/bits if I'm not mistaken and didn't contain more artwork then the cover if they contained any artwork at all. not to forget the simple truth that this split 7" is a total monster! vicious, spiteful and brutal HARDCORE that's heavily influenced by what's called POWER ELECTRONICS or (HARSH)NOISE or whatever (I call it annoying e.g.) these days and SOCIALLY RETARDED are even going as far as throwing in a NOISE track on their side for good measure. as POWER ELECTRONICS,(HARSH)NOISE, etc.isn't my cup of coffee I could do without it even though I like it's influence. I admit it's not so annoying in this case as they keep it raher short! although I really dig SOCIALLY RETARDED's 4 other tracks in my ears the real gold on this disk, which is ltd. to 300 copies, are the 3 SEA OF SHIT tracks cause of their ugliness and their brutality but most of all cause they sound like played by people that really feel nothing but disgust when they take a look around. the artwork of the (screen-printed) cover as well as the inlay strengthen that impression and after a look on the lyrics (of both bands) an impression becomes a fact. seems like Chicago, the city that spawned both bands, really "makes you want to kill people" as SICK/TIRED said in an interview. well, either that or there's just something in the water. click the cover above to download. the password for both is mean!

on a side-note: I also upped SEA OF SHIT's TOUR-CASSETTE which contains 2 tracks called SEA OF SHIT Pt. I & II. of which the 1st appears on their split 7" in a re-recorded version too while the 2nd part is a 7:27 min. NOISE piece done by 2 guys called Omar Gonzales and Adam Jennings I could live without plus their 6 track demo from 2009 and the track that appeared on the 100 IN 10 comp. 12". I most likely downloaded both from the branch of the TO LIVE A LIE empire that's known as NETLABEL and which you can download by clicking on the last picture that shows the SEA OF SHIT patch that came with my copy of their split 7" with SOCIALLY RETARDED b.t.w.!

DEAD CARCASS

I hereby admit that I made this rip from a CD-R that I got from a friend even though I've not only 1 but 2 physical copies of this 7" cause THOUSANDSWILLDIE's A CARCASS IS ONLY DEAD ONCE 7" contains 25 tracks of fierce GRINDCORE some only as short as 6 seconds which means that ripping it from the vinyl would have been a pain in the ass. as I don't know anything about them I've to keep it short. the cover you can see above is the cover of the ltd. BAD DREAMS

I got another quick post for you: THE WORLD ITSELF IS A BAD DREAM which is a totally rad tape compilation with 8 tracks from BAD YEAR, DEAD STARE, DURESS, NAZI DUST, PANZRAM and RATIONAL ANIMALS which run 8 minutes altogether and way more more important are all enjoyable. John Fahy, who not only runs HUMAN CRUSH RECORDINGS but is also a columnist for MRR and plays in PANZRAM and MERKIT if I'm not mistaken was not only kind enough to look around to get a copy for me after it was officially sold out I also got the comp. tape and the PANZRAM demo for only $ 8 incl. shipping from him even though the THE WORLD ITSELF IS A BAD DREAM tape alone would've scored way more on ebay back then. as most releases of NAZI DUST, DEAD STARE and DURESS can be found on a lot of blogs no, wait on nearly every blog is closer to home. every blog that is related to HARDCORE and/or PUNK somehow that is (in case of DEAD STARE incl. this one here too) and as I, as already mentioned before, have uploaded PANZRAM's 31614 demo I guess I don't have to tell you more. considering the fact that the compilation also has already been posted on other blogs before too I probably should have written" I know" instead of I guess. the password is mean.

CHRISTIAN HC IS AN OXYMORON!

in my 1st post about MK-ULTRA's discography 2 x 12" I wrote that "the long awaited MK-ULTRA discography 2 x 12" on YOUTH ATTACK has finally seen the light of day! having been announced for ages I started to doubt that it really would be released but fortunately I was wrong and so you've a chance to get your fix of MK-ULTRA without paying a small fortune on ebay for the org. wax. in my opinion they never got the attention they'd have deserved while they were alive and kicking. most people only referred to MK-ULTRA as "the other band of CHARLES BRONSON's drummer Ebro" (who actually not even was the original drummer) which was/is far from doing them justice and in case you don't believe I suggest you buy their discography, which delivers 55 tracks of brilliant, fierce and angry FASTCORE / POWER VIOLENCE / whatever and hear for yourself." but I didn't upload the mp3s back then since it had just been released. after the 1st pressing on white vinyl there were 2 more pressings on clear vinyl. as all 3 pressings are sold out since a while I thought the time would be right to write a 2nd post about it including the mp3s. I also scanned the booklet that came with it which contains the lyrics, band-pics, some artwork and a lot of old fliers. my copy was a present from MK-ULTRA's bassist Kirk (thanks again!) and included a poster of the re-union show they did in 2009 too. unfortunately the booklet comes in a strange size (from an European point of view) so I had to trick my scanner into scanning the complete pages and therefore the quality isn't really brilliant. the booklet also blew up the size of the archive a little bit too much for my taste so I split up the thing in 2 parts. as the MK-ULTRA discography came with a download code for a digital version of the 2 x 12" plus an extra live-cut from 1995 as bonus I just used those mp3s. the password is mean.

TASTES GOOD!

I got another 5" for you called TASTIN' SPOON from a band called SPAZZ. actually it's not a regular 5", it's a 5" picture disc and let me add that this is the ugliest picture disc I've seen so far... it has 10 tracks of which some are SPAZZ originals and others are covers of NAPALM DEATH, SORE THROAT, ELECTRO HIPPIES and probably also an S.O.D. cover. you now most likely ask yourself: why probably? well, let me tell you that the track which is listed as "Untitled" on the back cover is either a cover from the band CRAB SOCIETY NORTH or the cover of a track from S.O.D.'s demo with the same name. click the last picture to download! the password is mean.
