B A Y E R N C O R E pt. VII

the SOUTHERN STARS demo was just for friends and record lables!

sad but true:
this band had just a short career! this demo got em a record deal, MAD MOB rec. if I remember correctly, the recording for the 1st cd was done, but then their singer [the guy who used to sing for GROWING MOVEMENT] was sentenced to 3 years in prison just days before the cd should be released!
this is the GROWING MOVEMENT 7", more melodic than their 12" but the influence of N.Y.H.C. is already there! has some fantastic backing vocals!


the first REVENGE 7" was not N.Y.H.C. styled like their demo, but the influence is there! don`t get me wrong: this is no N.Y.H.C., it`s still crusty and punk just not as crusty as the later REVENGE were!

this 7" has the most tattooed cover to ever come out of Bavaria! don`t know exactly how much people have this drawing inked but there are some! well, no wonder if you grew up here when we did chances that you lost more than one friend to drugs or jail were quite high! this is the cover of the 1st pressing on BAD INFLUENCE rec. there is a 2nd pressing on DANCING IN THE DARK rec., that is done by Oise the STATIC 84 bassplayer, that one is white on black! 6 great melodic songs!


100% GORE BEAT changed their name to SEUCHENHERD when this 7" was already pressed! 5 songs of grind/powerviolence! FULL NOISE NINE were a 2-men band and deliver 6 songs of the same style! SEUCHENHERDs bassplayer Hatze now plays in PARANOIA KEEPS CRAWLING together with pig who played in F.N.9. & STAGNATION`S END.

    SOUTHER STARS is erneuert! gibt sogar 2 GROWING MOVEMENT demos! das 1ste PRIME CULTURE ist älter als die 7" (6 tracks - 4 davon sind auf der 7" die anderen 2 sind auf der 12"! alle mit anderen lyrics! das orginal von "take a bullet or hang yourself" lautet "shoot yourself or hang you up") und ein 2tes nach der 12"! hab das 2te vor jahren mal dem G.M. sänger geliehen und seitdem hat der das! wird aber evtl ne cd davon geben! AMEN!

    Vielen Dank !!!!!! Growing Movement waren wirklich eine der besten deutschen Kapellen und haben so manche Ami HC Combo an die Wand gespielt. Die 2 Platten sind bei mir schon ganz ausgenudelt vom vielen spielen. Schade, ich hatte es damals nicht geschafft sie live zu sehen.
    Gibt es denn in nächster Zeit Konzerte oder neues Material ?
    Die Demo CD klingt ja schon gut !!!

    gibt ne myspace seite http://www.myspace.com/hardcoreausregensburg und sie haben auch wieder ein paar konzerte gegeben! da Loll, der sänger, an multipler sklerose erkrankt ist werden sich shows wohl auf einzelne gigs hier und da beschränken!
    ob das mit der cd schon spruchreif is oder nur ein difuser plan kann ich dir nicht wirklich sagen!
