CATHARSIS - one of my all time top 20 bands and without a doubt one of the bands with the biggest influence on HARDCORE in the 90ies! guess you wouldn't have heard of FREEGAN etc. if CATHARSIS / Brian wouldn't have told you! when they came on tour for the first time I drove 800 km to Bremen just to see them live! this is the demo [I've the original tape but as the quality of my tape has suffered over the years I ripped the demo from the EPONYMOUS CD which is a collection of their demo, their 7" and some more songs and all tracks played backwards at the end]! as the file would've been bigger than 100 MB I split into the "normal" songs (includes the CONFRONT coversong that caused some trouble back in the day) which you'll get through the link below and the backwards played version which you'll get through click on the cover above!

this is a rip from my 7" which is the best stuff CATHARSIS released in my book!! the songs are included in the file above but the artwork isn't! download this file if you want to see the artwork!

...2 of the best weeks I´ve had in my life! the first REVENGE tour was a 2 weeks germany tour together with WORLD CHAOS and now guess who was the driver for REVENGE? should have posted this long ago! if you´re not familiar with WORLD CHAOS: fierce and angry crust with hatefilled lyrics played by some of the coolest people I´ve met in the "scene"!

I know that the GRIND YOUR FUCKING HEAD IN 12" is missing! I was to lazy to rip it but I liked the title! maybe I´ll post that one together with the 2 split 12"es or with the CORRUPTED split 7"? I posted this because with PHOBIA you can´t go wrong! every release is a winner! fierce, brutal GRINDCORE with no let-downs (I admit that SERENITY THROUGH PAIN is their weakest release)! these guys know how to kick your ass!

in my eyes & ears the best stuff PHOBIA have ever released was the DESTROYING THE MASSES 10" which has one of the best productions I've heard till today b.t.w. second to this 10" is their MEANS OF EXISTENCE full-length! even tough the 10" is better this is still a brutal GRINDCORE assault on your ears! click the cover!

Sweden vs. Germany on this little fucker! I think I don´t need to introduce both bands? 4 tracks, 2 from each band and every song is a coversong! YACÖPSAE take care of GANG GREEN's LET'S DRINK SOME BEER and VERBAL ABUSE's I HATE YOU and MASSGRAV rip through a LOS CRUDOS song they gave Swedish lyrics and a song by a guy called Eddie Meduza who ever he might be!
oh, wait a minute: if my Swedish serves me well this song title would translate to social-democrat ...and those bastards will all rot in hell as the don`t turn to the light!

as you know, I´m the pope so I´ve no problem with sin and shit alike!
