You're such a tool, who honestly cares what a band has to say? That's the most retarded thing about punk, people pay more attention to the lyrics than the music. Then again if my songs consisted of three chords I'd probably want to take the focus away as well.

I like that, "a tool" as in a person being used. The old anonymous comment from outer space. If the lyrics weren't important in music all songs would be instrumental. Pope you have a good one going here that I read a while ago but never commented. For me music sets the mood for what is going to be said. Sometimes you have to ignore the lyrics because of pure stupidity but I'm not going to support a band if I don't like what they have to say at least a little bit. I tried to go to the site you were talking about but it's gone. Anyway...great comments you've made especially on mine. thanx.

i still have friends who listen to burzum i have never listened to that band or read lyrics i heard he is racist and that is enough for me but i cant convince some people they use the argument that he wasnt always racist but i dont know if that is true or where they get their information
ReplyDeletewhat type of stuff does the lyrics say i want to keep telling people i know to give up on sucha waste of time even if the music is good without good lyrics it doesnt matter their are so many bands with good lyrics and music why waste time witha band that has only one of the two. maybe i will research burzum though i didnt want to but now i feel like its time to get some solid proof to discourage my friends and they aer nice people, not racist but why listen to this stupid band prolly cuz their popular i dont know

theres a very famous mineapolis band from the 90 that came and at the end evryone wanted to beat em up because they were doing a lot of shit ....and they were are anarchist so....i think it better to know the person first and the speak.......
