the BIRDFLESH / THE KILL split 7" has 4 new smash hits with absolutely senseless lyrics on BIRDFLESH's side and 7 tracks on the THE KILL's side but if I'm not wrong they all also appear on their THE KILL's THE SOUNDTRACK TO YOUR VIOLENCE MCD. ok, that was a CD only release so in case you prefer vinyl you are at least able to get some of the songs but as you'd be still lacking some tracks from the CD I don't think that was the reason! I guess they just hadn't more tracks recorded and so released them more than once! music-wise THE KILL are faster and more brutal than BIRDFLESH but I somehow like BIRDFLESH more!

STACK's SELBSFINDUNGSGRUPPE 6" is another record where I'm not so sure that the world really needs it! just 2 tracks on this 6" and while those 2 tracks are the best stuff STACK released together with their demo in my ears I still think that one doesn't get enough music for the price of a rather short but 6"!

if you've any doubts that the Swedes are nation of madmen go and visit Slobo's blog to correct your opinion or watch Lukas Moodyson's movie A HOLE IN MY HEART! I've always been into movies and I've seen a lot of weird stuff but this movie is among the 5 most disturbing movies I've seen till now! my younger brother gave it to me and said "this is something more up your alley than mine!" and he was dead right! A HOLE IN MY HEART tells the story of Richard, a loser whose wife is dead, who is hated by his son and hangs out with his buddy Geko, who's a loser too day in day out playing video games, talking shit and/or shooting amateur porn movies with Tess, a 21 year old girl from the neighborhood! if you think that this is just another pornflick - you're wrong! basicaly it's a movie about people that "aren't free of feelings even when those feelings are all lying in a pool of shit!". it's something like a brilliant, yet disturbing mirror of the times we live in! you've been warned (but should watch it nevertheless!)!

THIS ONE'S FOR MARC AND JOSE

Marc a.k.a. Batguano the man behind the FUGITIVE EQUILIBRIUM blog had a post in which he requested information on any band for which Tati (LOST WORLD, APOCALIPSTIX, etc.) did the vocals. I pointed out ANIMAL BONDAGE to him, promised to rip their split 12" with Canada's FIERCE and forgot it! then I recieved an e-mail from Jose who had read my comment on Marc's blog and asked if I could send him a link for the rip too. the problem was I had no link to send him as I hadn't ripped the 12" yet. I've forgotten that I promised to rip the 12" as I told you already! thanks to the poke in the eye from Jose I finally ripped it now! the 12" was released in 1996 or 1997 by SUSPIRIA Rec. the label of LOST WORLD bassplayer Gülle, which means cattle excrements in German b.t.w., but the recordings were made 10 years earlier in 1986! it's not as thight as LOST WORLD but it already points in that direction! dual male/female vocals too! the Canadians on the flipside are a little fiercer (that one was a must!) than the Germans and if I wouldn't have read it in the lyric booklet I wouldn't have recognized that their dual vocals are also done by people of the opposite sex! as I ripped it with 320 kbits and scanned the complete artwork/lyric booklet the rip was to big for one file! so if you click on the ANIMAL BONDAGE cover you'll get the lyrics and if you'll click on the FIERCE cover you'll get the music!
edit: the split was limited to 1000 (?) and came in different colors. my 2 remaining copies are in 2 different blue.

I've re-upped LEFT FOR DEAD's SPLITTING HEADS CD which is their entire discography in case you don't know and THE SWARM a.k.a. KNEE DEEP IN THE DEAD's PARASITIC SKIES 10" both albums with scans of the complete artwork and ripped with 320 kbits!

INSECT GRINDER

if you visit my blog on a regular basis I think you know that INSECT WARFARE is a band that really slays! this is their split with Nippon's CARCASS GRINDER and here you get 4 more tracks of ELITIST ASSHOLE GRIND on INSECT WARFARE's side of the split and 5 tracks of JAPGRIND on the flipside. truth be told I just listen to the INSECT WARFARE side! it's not that CARCASS GRINDER wouldn't be good it's just that they are no match for INSECT WARFARE! as a matter of fact if you aren't HATRED SURGE sharing a split with INSECT WARFARE might not be the smartest thing to do as they'll make your band look weak! came in nice colored vinyl!

I've ripped CATHARSIS' 1st full-length SAMSARA with 320 kbits, scanned the complete booklet and re-upped it as my 1st upload was hosted on divshare and they suck!

SPEED'N'SPIKES

another RELAPSE release on vinyl and once again it's limited to 1000 copies. this is the 2nd part of a series that's called SPEED'N'SPIKES! it came on red wax, one side running on 45 rpm the the other side running on 33 rpm and features RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER and ABSU. while the 1st haven't included any description of their music themselves ABSU claim to play OCCULT METAL. whatever that may be I don't like their 2 tracks very much! RUMPELSTILTSKIN GRINDER play old school GRINDCORE with no gimmicks and are the ones who make this 7" worthwhile! nothing new but really good for what it is!

THE SOUND OF NO HANDS CLAPPING (the 2nd) & SOME MORE

I know that CALIFORNIA LOVE's REAPING THE WHIRLWIND was released quite some time ago but as it is on really heavy rotation here I thought I should tell you how brilliant this record is in case you have missed it till now! hyperfast music fuelled by hate! I dare say this is a future classic in the fast & heavy music genre! and while we are on the topic of fast and heavy music: on a request from RyGar of NO ONE KNOWS I'M NEW WAVE blog I've re-upped the 2 7000 DYING RATS albums you can see below! I've to stop now cause Chabo says I should quit acting like a whimp and replace that MADONNA album with some SPLITTER or THE ARSON PROJECT or he'll take care of that!

ESCAPE FROM CANNIBAL ISLAND

the guys over at BROWN BROWN blog screamed for more VÖETSEK... well, they can get more VÖETSEK! here you got their split 5" with UNHOLY GRAVE released by HAUNTED HOTEL Rec. in 2008. your listening pleasure is a rather short one as you just get 3 tracks all together (well, you didn't expect something differen as it's a 5" anyway?) and the UNHOLY GRAVE song isn't really great. to be honest: I don't know why everybody wants to share a split with them? I never really liked anything I heard from them that much! get this for the 2 VÖETSEK tracks!

KUNG FU WARRIORS

there was an ULTIMATE WARRIORS post on BUDDHA KAHN recently including the cry for more stuff from them. so here you go: this is their split 7" with KUNG FU RICK, who stray a little bit from their path. just one rather long and slow song from them! it's the weakest stuff I've heard from them so far. on the flipside ULTIMATE WARRIORS rip through 8 tracks of highspeed HARDCORE with wrestling lyrics! my copy came in ugly mintgreen vinyl! I'm sorry to say that but KUNG FU RICK loose this match!

cause divshare sucks even worse than PIG DESTROYER's NATASHA I've re-upped both KRIGSHOT full-lengths and one of their 7"es! click on either of the covers!

this is SHORT, FAST & LOUD issue # 19 which I've posted at PUNKS IS HIPPIES already but as FLAGITIOUS IDIOSYNCRASY IN THE DILAPIDATION and INSECT WARFARE which share the split 7" that came with it are great bands and SHORT, FAST & LOUD is one of the best zines around I thought I should put it up here too! Nippon's FLAGITIOUS IDIOSYNCRASY IN THE DILAPIDATION are one of the few all-female really fast and heavy bands around (also really great music-wise) and, the now already dead and gone INSECT WARFARE were one of the best GRINDCORE units ever you should download this 7" if you don't own it yourself! this issue of the zine features interviews with Sweden's SAYYADINA and VIOLENT HEADACHE besides the usual stuff! click the SHORT, FAST & LOUD cover to download it!

ANNOYING BUT RE-UPLOADING

some time ago Rob was told by his cat Cash to tell you that "Prowler in the Yard is the best fucking Pig Destroyer album ever". now Chabo told me to tell you that while he tends to agree on that PIG DESTROYER's new 12" NATASHA sucks big time! and just as Cash he probably knows more about fast music than you'll ever know so avoid that record like the plague! as much as the new PIG DESTROYER 12" sucks the AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED / INSECT WARFARE split 5" rules! well to be honest the 7 INSECT WARFARE tracks really rule while the 4 AGORAPHOBIC NOSEBLEED tracks are good but not as good as their older stuff was! besides the nice Pushead-style artwork done by Flo once again mine came in blue and black vinyl! I tried to get some information on that 5" but it's not even mentioned on the RELAPSE page so I can't tell you to how many copies this is limited (hey it's released by RELAPSE on vinyl that means it is limited!) I've found the pressing information on ANb's myspace page I found a link to the RELAPSE page and there it says that the printrun of the 5" was 300 black, 300 blue, 300 red and 100 clear and it says: "clear is not available to the public please do not request clear!" why someone would release a record not available to the public is beyond my understanding!

as my divshare download limit is reached quite fast every month I've re-upped a lot of stuff that I still had ready-to-up on my HD and deleted the divshare files! but before I did that I looked what was downloaded the most and to my surprise the winner, with 1537 downloads (average number of downloads = 300 - 500 downloads), is:
