no not the U.S. band that is/was on AMPHETAMINE REPTILE records the German KINGS OF PUNK! I had posted the complete HAMMERHEAD discography long ago but as the links are dead and HAMMERHEAD is one of my all time fave bands I decided to post their discography again! this time including the cover and in better quality! I strongly advise you to download this as I dare say HAMMERHEAD were (the broke up some years ago) one of the 5 best German (if not the worlds) bands that have ever existed! these guys tought the scene a lesson! they didn´t give a fuck about what others say, they didn´t give a fuck about the scene and it´s gurus, they didn´t care if they insult anybody, they played no games - they were for real! I know that there are tons of rumors and gossip about them but you shouldn´t believe 10% of that! I don´t know how many people claimed that HAMMERHEAD fucked up their flats while sleeping there after a show... well, how comes that they didn´t fuck up my flat? and they slept there not only once! when they stayed at my flat they were nice guests and I never had anything to complain! I asked them about some of the storys I´ve been told and their versions sounded a lot more logical to me! HAMMERHEAD were the 1st HARDCORE band I new that had / have to sell their 12" with a censored cover cause some distributors refused to sell it with the original artwork! hmm, wasn´t there something about free speech and anti-censorship? anyway HAMMERHEAD are 110% PUNK and 120% NIHILISM so get this while you can! you need it!

IRON SHANK

two of the best bands when it comes down to what is called POWER VIOLENCE! the 2 piece from the U.S. called IRON LUNG and Glasgow's SHANK. on their split 12" they both rip through 17 songs (10 from IRON LUNG & 7 from SHANK) in 17 something minutes with a lyric sheet shaped like a coffin! I love IRON LUNG but they are no match for SHANK as SHANK are fiercer, angrier... they are one of those bands that make hate become music!

edit: I re-upped this one not only cause it was hosted on divshare but also cause I found this upload on the internet which has an untitled bonus track - can anybody tell me something about that track?

just came back from the cinema, where I saw MIA SAN DAGENG a kind of documentary of PUNKROCK in Munich from 1977 to now! if you speak german watch this movie if you don´t speak german watch this movie too! never before seen footage and the most important thing is: this was done by PUNKS that had no money (NO BUDGET NOT LOW BUDGET) and no clue but did it in spite of that!

ok, this is another classic from Hamburg: PUNKENSTEINs one and only 7" called OH, DU SCHÖNE MAID released on KONNEKSCHEN in the early 80ies. as I wrote in the RAZORS post all those songs from that time were written by the same people. so you won´t wonder when I tell you that the same guy that sung on the RAZORS BANNED PUNX 12" did the vocals here!

I found this review of INSECT WARFARE´s 1st 12" on the web and as the description is 100% accurate I took it for for their GULF COAST INFESTATION demo!
INSECT WARFARE have no random clean interludes and spazzed-out 'jazz' sections. They don't dress up in costumes resembling bugs, nor do they pretend to be anything other than a bunch of guys playing music. What they do is blast pure grindcore into any listener's ears; this means heavily distorted and massive guitar tones, frantic drumming, and every growl and croak imaginable.

World Extermination, their first full length, puts every aspect of INSECT WARFARE's music on display. Songs such as "Self Termination" and "Necessary Death" maintain a constant heaviness and speed that at times almost resembles old-school death metal. Others bring more diversity, incorporating more groove-oriented sections in between the blasts of cymbals and noise. They even manage to write a few catchy riffs in the process, including those in "Hydrophobia" and "Enslaved by Machinery".
If you want a soundtrack to a nuclear holocaust, pandemic, or the enslavement of Earth by extraterrestrial beings - look no further than World Extermination. Your face will melt.

1st. he doesn´t know about his brain and how to use it and

2nd. that bitches don´t know nothing about his dick either as he prefers the company of dogs as all boys of his ilk do!

this is DENAK´s 1st 7" and a remastered version of their GRINDCORE 10"! guess this was ripped from a CD as it has 40 tracks and as I´m to lazy to check from what release (if taken from earlier releases) those tracks are you have something worthwhile to do when you feel bored! I´m still not sure if DENAK or HAEMORRHAGE should wear the spanish GRINDCOREcrown but I know for a fact that both are great bands!
