1st we have S.D.S.´(= SOCIETIC DEATH SLAUGHTER) AMEBER CD from 1998. this was also released as a 12" before and I think the stuff on the CD version is taken from a 12". if you put it in the player you see that there are just 2 tracks, which I'd say could be side a and b on vinyl! the shitty CD version hasn't even listed the intro on the track list! after ripping it I split the songs so the file has 4 tracks (and an intro) of brutal JAPCORE played the way it was meant to be!

ANOTHER DEAD FRIEND

not much activity here lately as on 19 july 2007 my friend CHRIS Z. died from a heroin overdose and I had to take care of his girlfiend and cope with my own stupidity that I didn´t realize that he was hooked again! he will be missed!

STARVED AND DELIRIOUS was a Portland based band with a female singer that shared members with the usual suspects! I´m to lazy to check properly but I think you know who! the band on the flipside was/is called SVART SNÖ [=black snow] and was/is from Sweden! this 7" was released on CONSENS REALITY Rec. and came with a nice poster.

a 7" comp. released on french BAD CARD rec. featuring HELLNATION, CORRUPTED,JEANXSEBERG, LACK OF INTEREST, EBOLA, HYBRIDE, REAL REGGAE and AUTORITÄR! 1 track by each band whith the exception of JEANXSEBERG who offer 2 tracks. one of their tracks is called HARE KRISHNA [satan or jesus / stupid bullshit (#4) you like krishna / you like satan / you like buddha /you like jesus / satan or jesus / stupid bullshit (#4)] as I don´t speak proper french I´m not sure if I did understand their explanations correct, but if I´m right those guys run their mouths on something they obviously know nothing about! satan or jesus - stupid bullshit...dumbass hicks don´t talk about satanism if you don´t know nothing about it! and as far as buddhism is concerned, buddhists try to become a buddha they don´t believe in a buddha like people believe in jesus you fucking idiots!

SERVITUDE didn´t make it on time to the"split" with EBOLA. so here´s their own 7" called APPARATUS which was released by PROFANE EXISTENCE! SERVITUDE have 2 singers male & female, good sound quality, nice artwork and very good lyrics! and that equals a good 7"!

these tracks were supposed to be released on a split 7" with SERVITUDE but as there were some problems the split 7" couldn´t be released before the tour, they were released on a one-sided 7", that was limited to 500 copies and sold on the EBOLA Europetour 2000! as this was done in a hurry for the tour the 7" had blank white labels with a round EBOLA sticker on the side that with the music. I think it was released as the split 7" it should´ve been from the start after the tour! check out Karin`s voice, she and Elaine of ABUSO SONORO have the most brutal female voices in HARDCORE! have you been lucky enough to see EBOLA live? if so, you know what I´m talking about!

I love this 10" [and not just cause I`m on BEYOND DESCRIPTIONs thankslist!]! 7 tracks from nippons BEYOND DESCRIPTION, 5 tracks from DETESTATION... sad but true: the DETESTATION recordings are pretty weak when it comes to sairas vocals [a problem on all their releases]! BEYOND DESCRIPTIONs tracks have top notch sound! this was released on dutch WICKED WITCH rec. which had kind of a abc meets xyz series but BEYOND DESCRIPTION is the only band I know that was featured 2 times. there was a split 7" with the dutch band ABSCONDED before! [by the way, did you know that there´s a BEYOND DESCRIPTION / EXCREMENT OF WAR split 7"?]

I bought this from their drummer when they slept at our house when they played here way back in 1997 or 1998...this 7" is as great as their show was! ABUSO SONORO killed on stage! their guitarplayer was wearing a skimask during the whole set and I yet have to meet a woman that has a voice as brutal as elaines [maybe the voice of karin from EBOLA]! this 7" has top notch sound as well!

YOU MAY AGAIN BLAME 7"CRUST FOR THIS!

on a request from Billy of 7INCH CRUST I´ve uploaded BATTLE OF DISARM´s NOT LIE demo that I got from their singer Ryuji somewhen in the 90ies while we were trading records. it has 8 tracks that are divided in 4 live and 4 studio tracks but as the sound quality is good on neither the studio nor the live tracks the difference isn´t as big as you might have expected it to be. lyric-wise they hadn´t found any new topics yet (I assume they haven´t till today) animal rights, war, fill-in-your-punk-topic-of-choice-in-the-blank,... but as Ryuji was making a living by breeding insects in his flat and selling them via mail I allways that a little bit contradictory to their animal rights stance. I don´t know if his command of the English language was really not good enough to explain when asked or if he just pretended he couldn´t explain that to get away with it... I give him the credit of the doubt as the Japanese aren´t really known for their brilliant command of the English language in general!

BURNED OUT are active again! at least that´s what I´ve read somewhere... no matter what they´ll do, there´s no way that it will be better then this 7" from 1996 or 1997! what STAHLNETZ rec. has released here is real agony and real hate pressed on a piece of plastic! one of the best 7"es that have been released in the 90ies!

ENSLAVED and BOY USELESS joined forces to release this! mine was grey vinyl and came in a thick stock pocket cover that had a small sticker that said "fast", how true! was later re-released as a 7" by someone! this is as great as anything this outstanding band has released! you need this!

BLAME 7" CRUST FOR THIS!

as I stumbled over this split BATTLE OF DISAM 7" on 7"CRUST I was reminded that there should be some splits of BATTLE OF DISARM somewhere in my own collection! this is what I found:

the split 8 1/2" split flexi with MASSKONTROLL this was released on kellys CONSENS REALITY label and limited to 2000 copies. as the first 2 copies that I bought were fucked up there are just 1998 copies remaining! sound is pretty weak on this one!

the split with portugals SUBCAOS, which did a split with HIATUS too, was released on D.I.Y. rec. which was run by ruyji the singer of BATTLE OF DISARM, who had a really "cool" job, making a living of selling insects he was breeding in his flat! animal rights, hm... weak sound on this one too!

and finally the split with HYLKIÖ from finnland. released on D.I.Y. rec. too. [came with a big patch]! maybe I´ll upload the BATTLE OF DISARM demo somewhen...

I saw WUTENTBRANNT, way back then called OFFER RESISTANCE, open for REVENGE & MIOZÄN and really liked them! sad but true WUTENTBRANNT haven´t left much information! there was this 9 song tape that was recorded in their rehearsal room, but then their original guitarplayer moved to hamburg and they didn´t practice for such a long time that even the people in the band couldn´t remember all songtitles! the tracks on the split 7" with SUBKUTAN and the tracks on the 3 AKKORDE FÜR DIE FREIHEIT 7" comp. have been taken from this tape! 2 years later, having asked them to play in my town more then once, I recieved a phone call from their bassplayer telling me that he just came home from their rehearsalroom and that they´d like to play! some months later one of their singers told me that they´ll record a 7" and a song for the PAYOLL BENEFIT comp. 7" on BAD INFLUENCE rec.! due to various reasons the 7" was never released and WUTENTBRANNT broke up! this is everything they ever recorded: the 9 song tape and the recordings for the never released 7" as well as the comp. track!

this 7" has an x-ray pic as cover! no, not printed on the cover, the cover itself is an x-ray pic and the lyrics are printed on sheets of plastic [the kind you use in an overhead projectors]! BG is the follow up band to BURNED UP BLED DRY which released 2 great 7" themselves one of them being released on SLAP-A-HAM rec. so you should know what to expect as BG continue were BURNED UP BLED DRY stopped! if you´re into this kind of music you should be familiar with IRON LUNG as they have tons of releases [including split 12"es with SHANK & LANA DAGALES] out by now!
