Wow! The other day I mentioned it for the sake of talking about their releases and here it is! I thought I'd never hear it! Thanks a lot Papst und Count Yorga, sehr bedankt! Fernando :-*
Drowning Roses = Neurotic Arseholes??? - that's bullshit, only the bass player is an ex-arseholes member...by the way, i'm searching for the D.Roses Album " things are not the same LP" which was released by WEIRD SYSTEM in 1988.i can't find it on any blogs out there..is this re-released???
@wilddevilman: I told the same about Drowning Roses in the other post of the band, check that one here in this blog. Yeah it would be great to hear their first LP; the second one is disappointing, kinda sub-metallica garbage, glups. But it was great to finally hear their full EP and their demo here, thanks Pope and Count Yorga! I'd say the 1st LP isn't reissued, at least by Weird System; not sure though. Fernando :)
@fernando: jo, i read it yet and you're right about Drowning Roses, the 2nd LP sucks totally and the EP here is a great piece of vinyl + the demos are brilliant too and i'm thankful for ...[cheers!papst],if anybody find a blog where the 1st LP is please let me know.
Hey Pope, glad to see you commenting again. I guess you're speaking to wilddevilman here. When I said "I had told the same" I meant the thing about Drowning Roses hating to be called "ex-Neurotic Arseholes". But what the Pope says can not be bullshit, no way - keineswegs!! By definition! Anyway, the name of the drummer you mentioned is not the same I find on NA covers, but he could have changed his nickname, or maybe there was a late line-up with another drummer? Anyway, call DR what you like, it's your blog and after all it's the best way to have people listening to the rather obscure DR, innit? Cheers, Fernando :)
Hahaha, ok, you got me. No, that was not what I meant! But you're right that would be a funny trick! :D My point was... blahblah... After all you're right, Drowning Roses = ex Neurotic Arseholes (some of them), even tho they didn't like being called that. On the other hand, remember what we talked about JingoDeLunch? The other day I saw they had played in my town last 9th May, oh well... Gotta see if there are some reissues around.
they were supposed to play my town but their singer had a sore throat! (think I said that already?) would´ve loved to see them! saw them 15 years ago with BAD RELIGION the last time.
if you own the rights to any of the music posted here, and would like it removed, just contact me, and I will promptly delete it even though I'll mainly post records that I believe to be out of print! if you want me to post your bands stuff on my blog you've to send me a physical copy of whatever you want me to post!
what can I say? I am the pope that means I'm right and you're wrong! I'm your worst nightmare in case I have or in case I want to! if anything you read here upsets you - cry me a river!
b.t.w. I don't need to know you to dislike you!

ReplyDeleteI´m sorry I just got the 7" and the 2nd 12" and don´t know if the 1st has been re-issued!
